Man jailed after breaking own dog’s leg, beating it so badly it had to be put down

A man named Macpherson brutally injured his dog Rocka after his dog escaped the yard and attack a livestock and a wittiness saw him and reported him to the police . Then after when he attacked his dog  he went to his dads house and the dad told him to take the dog to the vet but he didn't listen. This whole indecent happen inn Papakura. Not to long ago Macpherson was sentenced at Wairoa District Court for the indecent that happen back in 2017. Wen he went to his court case the judge was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, he was banned from owning animals for six years the SPCA were proud to hear that if any pet owners mistreats there animals will be prosecuted
